Kipp’s
Sausage Lentil Soup
5 cups water
1 12oz pork sausage
1˝ cups lentils
1 14oz can diced stewed tomatoes
1 medium onion,
chopped
3 carrots,
chopped
2 celery
stalk, chopped
1 cloves
garlic, minced
4 cubes beef bouillon
1 tbsp chili
powder
----------------------------------------------------------------------------
+ sauté
sausage, onion, garlic, carrot and celery until sausage is browned.
+ drain of excess fat.
+ add the rest of the
ingredients and bring to a boil.
+ simmer covered 30 minutes
or until lentil are soft.
+ stir occasionally and add
water as required.
